Self Brief proj
For this project, im plannin on creating a teaser/trailer for a game that im designing for the MMD3307 class. The teaser/trailer will be about a min long and it'll be like the Die For Oil project, where i'll just be using images + text + effects. Since for the MMD3307 class, im only doing the concept art production part, so everything i have so far are all on paper. Now all i have to do is to keep drawing and produce them in full render view.
Some game vdos for inspiration:
originally, i was thinkin of having something like this:
A voiceover intro, with main character being introduced. Then shows a bit of the game environment and a bit of game play. But then since most of my work done are all just images, so i guess its best to stick with something like "The world ends with you" game trailer.
Heres a Final Fantasy Teaser that kinda is what i was lookin for, for the pace and sound. For sound, im gona have my friend compose a piano piece.

Graphics Overlay project
Finally have some time to update my blog a bit.
For the graphics overlay proj, i've noticed there were some mistakes at the last bit of the video, so im gona resubmit it at the end of the semester. Here is the video:
Basically, for this proj, i was lookin at using bright colors to cover up the original realistic look of the environment. With bright colors, i feel that fast pace music will suit it well, but i didnt want anything with someone singing in it, so i've decided to use the beginning part of the Teriyaki Boyz soundtrack from Too Fast Too Furious 3.
Originally, i took some stacks of photos from the area i live, with the hope of achieving something like this:
But i gave up that idea cause my stacks of photos werent consistent enough and it wasnt enough to work with.
I reli like PES's vdos, esp this one that joel showed us.
